Job summary
Erias Ventures is seeking a Software Test Engineer in the Columbia, MD area to join a technically strong and growth-oriented team. The role focuses on identifying defects, improving product quality, and collaborating across product, development, and DevOps teams.
The position requires a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance. Relevant experience with test automation, performance, security testing, and multiple testing tools is expected. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience in software test engineering including test automation, performance and security testing.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, PMs and DevOps to ensure quality throughout the software life cycle.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for software testing.
Responsibilities
- Identify and fix defects and improve product quality.
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into specs.
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
- Automate deployment and monitoring processes with DevOps teams.
- Stay updated on trends and suggest new technologies to improve products.
