Job summary

Rose International in Tampa, FL seeks a Python AI and ML Engineer for a hybrid contract role. Three days onsite and two remote, six months, USD 60–65/hour.

You will lead design and implementation of Python-based frameworks, build AI agents and autonomous workflows, and collaborate across Risk, Quants, Front Office, DevOps and Production Support to deliver high-quality solutions. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required;

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in software development or data engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field required.
• Cloud certifications are a plus and indicate ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Python-based frameworks for scalable apps.
• Develop solutions aligned with architectural standards and business needs.
• Design autonomous AI workflows and agents with planning and tool-use capabilities.
• Enforce SDLC practices and contribute to code quality via reviews.
• Demonstrate polyglot programming exposure, including Java.
• Work with Big Data tech like Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka and support data warehousing.
