Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute across the SDLC for retail, consumer goods, and logistics projects. The role emphasizes documenting requirements, guiding design discussions, and delivering integrated software solutions using Python, ML tools, and Generative AI across cloud platforms.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, Vertex AI, Bedrock)
• Experience with RAG architecture and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience with multi-agent architectures and LangGraph
• Exposure to vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate
• Knowledge of chain-of-thought prompting and in-context learning
• Experience building AI copilots, assistants, or chatbots
• Highly articulate with strong communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical challenges clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate seamlessly across diverse teams.
• Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly isolate and resolve

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
