Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Plano, TX to drive AI-enabled analytics and software development for financial services. You will engage in end-to-end SDLC activities, implementing advanced Python solutions, RAG-based apps, and vector-based search mechanisms.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver scalable AI-driven platforms. The role emphasizes design, coding, testing, and production support, with relocation flexibility and US work authorization.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience can substitute education.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation by documenting parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for the tech team.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Experience in Generative AI concepts with hands on experence on LLM's
• Experience building RAG based applications
• Experience in Document Processing, Embedding Models, Semantic search, Vector Indexing
• Experience in LangChain, LangGraph, and any Agentic AI frameworks
• Have experience with any vector databases.
• Hands on development experience with Advanced Python programming.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Work with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Impala,PySpark) for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data modeling and analytics best practices
• Exposure to streaming or near-real-time analytics
• Understanding of data governance and security frameworks
• Partner with business users to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and query optimization across platforms.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
