Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Austin, TX to drive AI-enabled software solutions. You will collaborate across teams to elicit requirements, design, implement, and test features, and maintain robust codebases.

Expect hands-on coding, reviews, and production support in a fast-paced environment. Strong skills in Python, ML libraries, Generative AI, LangChain/LlamaIndex, and cloud/container technologies are essential.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn
• Hands‑on experience with Generative AI and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, Vertex AI, Bedrock)
• Experience with RAG architecture and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience with multi‑agent architectures and LangGraph
• Exposure to vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate
• Knowledge of chain‑of‑thought prompting and in‑context learning
• Experience building AI copilots, assistants, or chatbots
• Highly articulate with strong communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical challenges clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and collaborate seamlessly across diverse teams.
• Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly isolate and resolve

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
