Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn seeks an EE/S FH PVT Engineer to own hardware quality for F-150 electrical/electronic systems. You’ll partner with KCAP and cross-functional teams to improve HW/SW quality across modules, driving ICA/PCA actions and risk mitigation.

The role requires engineering academics and hands-on QA experience, with collaboration across suppliers and VFG leaders to sustain best-in-class vehicle performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 2+ years using Microsoft Office applications.
• 1+ years using AI tools to improve day-to-day efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good oral and written communication; able to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize ICA and PCA actions to address warranty stemming from customer quality concerns.
• Take ownership of customer critical issues and drive resolution.
• Analyze warranty claims and coordinate parts return/analysis.
• Track improvement actions in SIMPSN and related systems.
• Lead plant trials for quality, cost, and supplier improvements.
• Assist with launch activities on major and minor programs.
• Use DET and FDRS to aid vehicle triage.
