Job summary

CORE LABORATORIES LP is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Duchamp, Louisiana. This role involves performing routine laboratory analyses of pressurized petroleum crude oil and natural gas in a PVT lab environment.

Responsibilities include handling PVT studies, maintaining lab equipment, and assisting in data management while adhering to safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma, with further education preferred, and prior lab experience is a plus.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must pass drug and alcohol test for safety-sensitive employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of PVT studies such as recombination and viscosity measurement.
• Use basic hand tools safely to work with laboratory equipment.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Complete laboratory raw data sheets and enter data into the management system.
• Assist senior laboratory personnel with equipment setup and operation.
