Job summary

OMNI INDUSTRIES INC is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Shreveport, LA to test and analyze oil-based lubricants and components. You will use internal procedures and ASTM methods, perform SQC, and assist chemists with sample management to ensure accurate results.

The role requires good laboratory practices, strong time management, and the ability to work across shifts, including weekends. High School diploma is required with preference for QC lab experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Experience in a QC laboratory is a plus.
• Must be able to work all three shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work safely by identifying hazards and notifying management.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Log and test samples and utilize testing equipment per internal procedures and ASTM methods.
• Approve samples according to specifications.
• Maintain instrument accuracy and calibration verification.
• Assist in organizing and stocking laboratory supplies.
