Job summary

Broadcom Limited’s Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD) seeks a PVD Equipment Engineer to own and support 8” wafer fabrication equipment in Northern Colorado. You’ll partner with Technology Development and Process Engineering to develop advanced processes, establish robust equipment and processes, and validate them before ramping to high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS in EE, ME, ChemE, or Materials Science.
• 5+ years of experience with semiconductor or adjacent processes and equipment.
• Detail oriented with strong fundamentals in equipment engineering.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for process/equipment interactions.
• Experience applying structured problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

• Own and support equipment and related projects; optimize hardware and software.
• Provide technical leadership in evaluating, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
• Upgrade equipment and support tool conversions with qualification.
• Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to meet goals and drive process improvements.
• Work with Process Engineering and R&D to enable continued leadership across roles.
