You will perform supplier audits, drive root-cause resolutions, and support cost planning while identifying new technologies from qualified suppliers to advance product development and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Must have knowledge and experience in thin films such as PVD, CVD, and ALD.
  • Experience with New Product Development and design for manufacturability.
  • Ability to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem solving and root cause correction actions.
  • Able to communicate requirements to suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with NPD teams to ensure drawings and specs are clear for suppliers.
  • Participate in supplier selection to build a base with quality, cost, and delivery advantages.
  • Audit suppliers and drive corrective actions to improve quality and capability.
  • Resolve quality issues and manage incidents with root-cause analysis.

Learn more about our benefits.**Key Responsibilities**Must have knowledge and experience in thin films such as PVD, CVD, and ALD.Work with New Product Development teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers.Participation with New Product Introduction teams to ensure suppliers are involved in the development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturability.Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.Performing the supplier technical audit process and evaluating supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.Performing quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action.Evaluates technical requirements of new and existing products.
