Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions such as SOPs and manufacturing prints.
• Ability to perform written communication.
• Knowledge of industrial cutting tools is preferred or desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to use basic hand tools.
• Experience with coating processes and vacuum technology is desirable.
• Ability to calculate and adjust machine settings.
• Ability to program machines using Windows NT.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, high energy, and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects product for coating quality as per FR CO-2 Quality Planning for PVD Coating.
• Loads product into fixtures and coating chamber following routing and prints.
• Maintains process control on equipment prior to loading.
• Prepare coating chamber and input coating program.
• Inspects finished product to verify coating quality.
• Posts operations into SAP and signs off tasks.
• Keeps workstation and equipment clean and organized.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
