Job summary

Ionbond is seeking a Machine Operator in West Chicago, IL to work with high-vacuum PVD coating chambers and support coating of aerospace, automotive, and industrial parts. You will load/unload parts, monitor processes, perform periodic checks, and maintain equipment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years manufacturing experience, good manual dexterity, and ability to read English instructions. Shift is 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or related field (3+ years) preferred.
• Ability to read English instructions and perform precision tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-vacuum PVD coating chambers.
• Load and unload customer products into machines with care.
• Perform periodic checks to ensure machines and processes run correctly.
• Carry out visual inspections of parts after processing.
• De-fixture batch loads after processing.
