Job summary

IPEX is hiring for an extrusion operator role in our PVC pipe manufacturing facility. You will operate extrusion lines, inspect products with measuring tools, and report any quality or equipment issues. The job emphasizes safety and teamwork in a fast-paced plant environment.

We offer bi-weekly pay, a set 12-hour shift pattern, and opportunities to participate in safety programs and plant initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
• Knowledge of measurement systems and measuring devices.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Plastics manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion equipment and production lines to manufacture PVC pipe.
• Perform quality inspections using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Notify Supervisors of quality concerns, equipment issues, or unusual conditions.
• Package finished pipe products and document production.
• Identify, transfer, and load production materials as required.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Support safety programs and report hazards.
