Fiberon is looking for a manufacturing operator in New London, North Carolina. You will maintain proper compound volumes, assist with bulk raw material unloading, and complete necessary documentation.
Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably as a mixing operator in a continuous production environment. Strong mathematical skills and the ability to work 12-hour shifts are essential.
Maintaining proper compound volumes to achieve efficient production rates.
Assisting with unloading and reporting of bulk raw material receipts through the CMS computer system.
Raw material testing as required.
Completing required process parameter documentation and paperwork as instructed by shift supervisor.
Follow the procedure for raw material formulation review and approval.
Fill out the streaker raw material tracking sheets each shift.
Maintaining clean work area.
Assisting other PVC mixing operation to meet shift’s production schedule as required by supervisor.
Performing assigned tasks in a safe manner.
Completing other assignments as required by the shift supervisor.
Maintain the Mix Room Area.
Other activities as assigned.
Experience leading or supervising others.
2-5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
Previous mixing operator experience in a continuous production environment.
Ability to read, interpret and complete production schedules and reporting forms.
Strong mathematical skills.
Ability to work 12 hour shifts.
Previous PC or Mainframe computer use.
