Job summary

EXCEL Group is seeking a skilled PVC Lab Technician to join our team to conduct tests and analyses on PVC materials and products, contributing to quality control and development of PVC compounds used in manufacturing.

You will prepare samples, perform mechanical, physical, and chemical tests, operate rheometers and other lab instruments, and maintain accurate data records. A safe, organized lab environment is essential as you generate reports for supervisors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in PVC or polymer testing lab preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and equipment used in polymer testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret test results.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording data.
• Excellent communication skills to convey results effectively.
• Commitment to a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare PVC samples for testing to meet specifications.
• Perform mechanical, physical, and chemical tests on PVC materials.
• Operate laboratory instruments such as rheometers, viscometers, spectrophotometers, and thermal analysis equipment.
• Record data accurately in notebooks or electronic systems.
• Monitor quality control for accuracy and consistency of results.
• Troubleshoot testing equipment and involve maintenance when needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals and waste.
• Organize PVC samples and maintain storage and tracking system.
• Prepare reports summarizing test results for review.
