Job summary

EXCEL Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced PVC Loader for our maintenance project site in Plaquemine, LA. The role involves loading and unloading PVC materials, ensuring safe handling and proper distribution within the facility.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, organizing storage, maintaining inventory records, and operating forklifts. A TWIC card is required, and prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• TWIC card required.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to work on feet for prolonged hours on unlevel ground.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload PVC materials from delivery trucks and storage areas.
• Inspect incoming PVC materials for damages and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store PVC materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines at all times.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport PVC materials within the facility.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulations.
