Atkore is seeking a PVC Manufacturing Material Handler for the night shift (8:00pm–8:00am) in Louisville, KY. Hourly pay starts at $18.50 with an additional $1.00 shift differential. Responsibilities include confirming extrusion line production, quality control tasks, packaging, forklift operation, and line changeovers.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, basic math skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent preferred.
• Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
• Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsabilités

• Confirm the product running on each extrusion line with the Production schedule.
• Assist with Quality Control duties including monitoring saw cuts, pipe length, bell fit, print line confirmation, chamfer/bevel, and reference line spacing.
• Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities.
• Weigh and transport finished product via forklift (Atkor certification will be provided).
• Cut crate boards to proper lengths and adjust if needed.
• Assist with start-up and changeover of the PVC extrusion lines.
• Ensure pipe is brought into specification and identify any out-of-spec products.
• Maintain clean and safe production and storage areas; proficient with material handling and packaging devices.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Within 3 months, you’ll: complete required training, develop relationships with shift supervisor and others, understand lean daily management practices.

What you’ll bring:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $18.50 + $1.00/hr. Shift Differential. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
