Job summary

Dal-Tile in Dickson, TN is seeking an experienced Materials Technician to support production by preparing recycled PVA materials and ensuring inventory meets daily needs. Responsibilities include shredding, weighing, and preparing PVA per recipes, maintaining day tanks, and training operators as part of a collaborative plant team.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of job-specific experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Shred Line 2 PVA and weigh shredded PVA to specification.
• Prepare pre-blended jugs of liquid chemicals to recipe for PVA prep.
• Prepare PVA day tanks for production use.
• Oversee housekeeping and organization around the PVA station.
• Train operators on preparing day tanks with recycled PVA recipe.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate material needs with maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of materials and Prepped PVA for production needs.
• Communicate production needs with shifts and management.
