Job summary

Starlink is seeking a technically strong Supplier Development Engineer to drive end-to-end supplier development and manufacturing bring-up across the photovoltaic supply chain in Bastrop, TX. You will own supplier engagement from selection to qualification, ensuring material and process corners are fully characterized for high-volume module production.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in solar photovoltaic manufacturing, crystalline silicon supply chain, or supplier development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supplier development and manufacturing bring-up for the photovoltaic supply chain, spanning polysilicon, ingots, wafers, solar cells, and module integration.
• Engage early with suppliers on selection, equipment selection, and process engineering for high-volume manufacturing programs.
• Lead the bring-up of solar cell manufacturing lines and support upstream wafer, ingot, and polysilicon supply chain development.
• Assess supplier capabilities with emphasis on solar cell fabrication: texturing, diffusion, passivation, AR coating, metallization, and testing.
• Lead NPI, PPAP, FAI, rate ramps, and qualification campaigns for full-rate manufacturing.
