Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. in Camden, OH is seeking a PV Commissioning Superintendent to oversee commissioning activities and drive solar projects to completion. You will lead project teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety and quality across states where projects run.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or engineering degree in a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• Successfully supervised a construction workforce.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry and operations.
• Understanding of project scope and scheduling; embed solutions in plans.

Responsibilities

• Works with project manager to ensure implementation of PCL’s safety program and site procedures.
• Supervises, directs, coaches, trains, and mentors the project team.
• Communicates effectively with trades and client to meet safety, quality and schedule requirements.
• Manages potential problems and schedule conflicts; coordinates lookahead planning.
• Liaises with client, subcontractors, and unions to ensure smooth execution.
• Develops and implements Project Execution Plan (PEP) and three-week lookahead schedules.
• Creates and maintains project plan, schedule and budget compliance.
• Reviews contracts for risks and opportunities and mitigates where possible.
• Maintains project administration and documentation; builds stakeholder relationships.
