Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. in Camden, Ohio, Eaton, Ohio is seeking a PV Commissioning Superintendent to drive solar projects to completion by leading commissioning activities and integrating safety, schedule and quality into every phase of construction.

The role requires supervisory experience, engineering/tech background and strong collaboration skills to coordinate trades, field engineers and clients across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or undergraduate/engineering degree in a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• Successfully supervised a construction workforce.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry and company operations.
• Understanding of project scope and ability to apply engineering principles to plans and schedules.
• Proficient understanding of scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Works with project manager to ensure implementation of safety program and site plans.
• Supervises, directs, coaches, trains, and mentors the project team.
• Communicates effectively with own forces, trades and ensures performance, productivity, quality and safety requirements.
• Collaborates with project manager and team to manage problems and schedule conflicts.
• Liaises between field engineers, estimators, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Develops and maintains project schedule, budget and quality controls.
• Maintains strong client relationships and ensures customer-focused communication.
