Job summary

Newegg is seeking a Warehouse Put Away Driver to safely move, store, and organize incoming products within the Ontario, CA facility. This role uses RF scanners and WMS to verify items and place them in correct locations, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate inventory records.

The position requires forklift experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment. Training and certification may be provided by Newegg.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Prior warehouse or put-away experience preferred; forklift experience a plus.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain through company training.
• Basic math and reading skills for accurate order processing.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment to move pallets and products to storage locations.
• Scan and verify products using RF scanners or WMS.
• Place inventory in correct bin/slot locations per warehouse layout.
• Inspect pallets/products for damage and report issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory by confirming transfers in the WMS.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent damage or injuries.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per safety standards.
• Collaborate with receiving, inventory control, and picking teams.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.

The Warehouse Put Away Driveris responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, and organizing incoming products and inventory within the warehouse.

Job Description

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment to move pallets and products to assigned storage locations
• Accurately scan and verify product using RF scanners or warehouse management system (WMS)
• Place inventory in correct bin/slot locations according to warehouse layout and storage guidelines
• Inspect pallets and products for damage prior to and during put away; report discrepancies or damage immediately
• Maintain accurate inventory records by confirming location transfers in the WMS
• Follow proper stacking, weight limits, and safety protocols to prevent product damage or workplace injuries
• Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards
• Collaborate with receiving, inventory control, and picking teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed

The base salary range for this position in Ontario, CA is $18.00-$20.00/hour.
