Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP seeks a Senior Analyst to design and manage Microsoft Purview data governance, labeling, retention, and compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure. You will implement DLP, insider risk, and eDiscovery workflows while coordinating with Legal, Privacy, and IT teams to meet regulatory obligations.

The role requires 5+ years in security/compliance, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.

Qualifications

Design, implement and manage Purview-based data governance and compliance.
Hands-on experience with Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, and eDiscovery.
Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 compliance requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in security/compliance.
Experience with Microsoft 365 security tools and Azure.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain Purview for classification, labeling and retention.
Implement data security controls and eDiscovery workflows.
Collaborate with multiple teams to balance regulatory obligations and business needs.
Monitor Purview alerts and drive remediation and incident response.
Develop documentation, standards, and compliance reporting.
