Job summary

Accenture is seeking a skilled writer to join the Sales Excellence writing team. You will craft clear, concise and compelling sales materials that differentiate Accenture from competitors, while collaborating with designers and stakeholders to story and shape proposals.

You will write, edit and proofread pursuit content, tailor sections, and coach junior team members in best practices, applying a global editorial standard across materials and repositories.

Qualifications

• Native level of fluency in English and related writing skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional writing or related experience.
• Excellent command of business language and tone.
• Familiarity with standard editorial guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a virtual environment.
• Extra: experience with IT content or topics and AI-assisted content.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, research and proofread pursuit writing support requests.
• Participate in proposal storyboarding sessions.
• Tailor standard sections using baseline content.

Along with writing and editing using standard content and best practices, you will develop your creative storytelling skills to deliver innovative sales materials.

You will:

• Write, edit, research and proofread pursuit writing support requests.
• Participate in proposal storyboarding sessions.
• Tailor standard sections using baseline content.
• Collaborate with creative colleagues such as designers to develop materials.
• Contribute to and work with content in internal repositories.
• Coach junior team members
• Apply best practices for writing and editing aligned with the global team.
• Contribute to and participate in the pursuit writing practice community.

Here’s what you need:

• Native level of fluency in English [and/or other languages as applicable]
• A minimum of 2 years of professional writing or related experience

• Excellent command of business language
• Familiarity with standard editorial guidelines
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Highly competent in MS Word and PowerPoint
• Strong problem solving and decision‑making abilities.

Extra credit if you have:

• Writing experience with IT offerings or topics.
• Experience using generative AI platforms to research, create, and find content.
• Experience creating prompts that enable AI tools to produce high‑quality, relevant, and tailored content.
