Job summary

Southern Oregon Goodwill is hiring a Material Handler for our ASHLAND, OR retail location. You will help lead daily store operations, support the mission to turn donations into jobs, and contribute to a team dedicated to service excellence and sustainable practices.

The role includes inventory, housekeeping, and assisting with client programs, with shifts that include weekends. Competitive wages and benefits are offered to support personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Speak and understand English well enough to read materials and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Able to maintain the physical requirements of the job.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, drive sales and lead a team committed to the mission.
• Perform inventories, tallies or other tracking for retail and operations.
• General housekeeping: vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and restroom maintenance.
• Assist GoodWorks staff with implementation of work plans and client programs as assigned by store manager.
• Work a variety of shifts including weekends.
• Perform daily checks and maintenance on equipment.
