Job summary

Corden Pharma is seeking a Purification Tech for the 1st shift (6:00AM - 5:00PM) to support peptide purification in a cGMP environment. Candidates must have lab experience or a science degree and be comfortable with solution prep and preparative chromatography.

You will follow batch records, SOPs, and test procedures, perform clean room activities, and work weekends as needed. Physical requirements include lifting up to 80 lbs and PPE use.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in the sciences or 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Must meet ADA requirements: lift up to 80 lbs, wear safety shoes/glasses, respirator clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cGMP environment to aid peptide purification via solution preparation and preparative chromatography.
• Understand metric system to perform calculations.
• Work with preparative scale chromatography
• Collaborate with team to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Follow production batch records, SOPs and test procedures.
• Perform scheduled clean room cleaning activities as described by SOPs.
• Must manage time well and be able to perform daily tasks promptly.
• Be willing to work shifts and weekends as necessary.
• Responsibilities may change based on business needs.

MUST have experience in a Lab and/or a degree in Science ( Chemistry, Biology, Life Science).

Primary Responsibilities

• Work in a cGMP environment to aid the peptide purification processes through solution preparation and preparative chromatography.
• Understanding of the metric system to perform calculations.
• Work with preparative scale chromatography
• Work as part of a team to complete specific projects in a timely manner.
• Follow approved cGMP manufacturing directions such as production batch records, standard operation procedures and standard test procedures.
• Perform the scheduled clean room cleaning activities as described by the standard operating procedure.
• Must manage time well. Must be able to perform daily tasks in a timely manner – improving productivity while minimizing idle time.
• Must be willing to work shifts and weekends as necessary.
• These responsibilities may change based on the business demand and the company’s organizational needs.

• Must be able to push, pull, squat, stand, sit, and walk through-out the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 80lbs.

• You must be cleared by a physician to wear a respirator throughout the day while in designated areas. This is a condition of employment required for the above position.
• Must be able to work in a chemical environment.
