Position Overview

We are looking for aPurchasing Virtual Assistantto support procurement and supply chain operations with precision and efficiency. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who enjoys managing vendor relationships, coordinating purchases, and streamlining processes in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Purchases:Coordinate and process purchase orders with accuracy, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, tools, and supplies.
Track Inventory & Orders:Maintain up-to-date records of inventory levels, order statuses, and delivery timelines using spreadsheets or ERP systems.
Vendor Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and delivery outcomes.
Process Optimization:Continuously evaluate purchasing processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Cross-Departmental Support:Collaborate with production, operations, and logistics teams to ensure materials are aligned with project timelines and specifications.
Documentation & Compliance:Ensure all procurement activities are properly documented and comply with internal policies and quality standards.
Qualifications
Experience:Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment).
Tech Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and purchasing or ERP software. Familiarity with CRMs or procurement platforms is a plus.
Self-Driven:Ability to manage workload independently in a fully remote setting with minimal supervision.
Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
Problem Solving:Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to handle procurement challenges proactively.
Attention to Detail:High level of accuracy and accountability in managing data, purchase orders, and follow-ups.
