Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement for multiple product lines and to lead a team of buyers. The role focuses on optimizing inventory, improving on-time delivery, and streamlining purchasing processes.

The successful candidate will implement best-in-class purchasing practices, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate across departments to maintain supply chain efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate purchasing staff.
• Direct daily workflow and schedules of the department.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address disciplinary issues.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, timeliness, and price.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
• Manage inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure availability.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• May be involved in developing and implementing purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
• May research and evaluate vendors to compare pricing and services.
• May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
