Job summary

Blue Nile, a Signet Jewelers brand, is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support the Manufacturing Operations team. You will manage day-to-day inventory, issue POs, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely replenishment.

Responsibilities include receiving stock, conducting cycle counts, reconciling inventory in ERP, and assisting with returns and reverse logistics. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory-related experience, preferably in jewelry.
• Proactive approach with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and set orders for replenishment in a timely manner.
• Verify deliveries, costs and quantities of incoming orders.
• Collaborate with vendors for accurate stock allocation and shipments.
• Maintain stock and ensure accurate ERP records.

Blue Nile is seekingaPurchasingSpecialistto support the Manufacturing Operations team in managing day-to-day inventory and resolving issues. Responsibilitiesalsoincludepurchasing and receivingstock, generating Purchase Orders (POs),monitoringinventory levels, ordering components in response to demand, and promptly investigating and resolving stock issues.In addition, Vendor Management is critical to ensuringtimelystock replenishment.Based on business needs, this role may supplementother manufacturing operations tasks,such as picking components andorder fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare documents fromadvanced shipping notices from suppliers fortimelymaterialreceipts.
• Check packing lists thoroughly for correctness and quality,maintainingproduct integrity.
• Support returns, cancellations, and other reverselogisticsworkstreams to allowaccurateaccountability.
• Handleadditionalresponsibilitiesand projects as needed to support broader inventory strategy and needs.
• Proactively and clearly communicate withthe manager, team, and other coworkers toensure efficient and professional handling of the workload.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience inan inventory-relatedposition, preferably within the jewelry industry.
• Proactive critical thinking approach to any role.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiencyin ERP systems and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Computer literacy and comfort.
• Works withcloseattention to detail anda strong senseof urgency.
• Experience withinventorycountsand stock reconciliationpreferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

Hourly base pay: $24.00 - $30.00. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
