Walbec Group is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to bolster plant operations, inventory management, and procurement across its asphalt plants and warehouses. You will maintain parts data, train staff on the E360 system, and support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with inventory systems and ERP platforms (E360 experience preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Perform and oversee plant and warehouse cycle counts; establish min/max levels; organize and right-size inventory; implement barcode systems; manage obsolete stock.
  • Purchasing Support: Populate and maintain reference parts lists; guide sourcing of alternative parts; support team with inventory insights; maintain parts data.
  • Training & Development: Train purchasing staff on E360 usage; educate teams on reference parts systems and inventory processes; promote cycle counting best practices.
  • Maintenance & Systems Support: Support oil sampling program; assist in emergency parts deliveries as needed.
