Job summary

Raynor Hawaii Overhead Doors is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage purchasing materials, coordinate shipments, and support inventory and logistics on Oahu. This role collaborates with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Accounting, and freight partners to ensure timely orders and accurate receiving.

Responsibilities include PO creation in ServiceTitan, SOP development with Operations, and monitoring orders from placement to delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory, or supply chain is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ServiceTitan experience is preferred.
• Able to work regularly in person at our Pearl City office by the position’s start date.

• Create and process purchase orders using the ServiceTitan Purchasing Module.
• Support the company’s transition to virtual inventory later this year.
• Develop and maintain purchasing SOPs in collaboration with Operations and Raynor in Dixon, Illinois.
• Submit approved purchase orders and monitor order status through delivery.
• Review and distribute order acknowledgements to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate container shipments and assign unit counts to maximize container capacity.
• Coordinate with Pacific Transport for container delivery to Raynor Manufacturing and shipment to Oahu.
• Arrange container hauling to and from docks on Oahu.
• Manage loose, non-Raynor door and parts shipments, including freight quotes, scheduling, tracking, and updates.
• Prepare and distribute container reports, manifests, and shipment updates.
• Resolve shortages, discrepancies, and warranty claims.
• Review receiving docs and verify shipments against PO.
• Work with warehouse to fulfill inventory replenishment requests.
• Review PO invoices for accuracy before payment.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and communicate with internal departments throughout the purchasing process.

Raynor Hawaii Overhead Doors is looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist responsible for purchasing materials, coordinating shipments, managing vendor relationships, and supporting inventory and logistics operations.

This role works closely with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Accounting, vendors, and freight partners to ensure materials are ordered, shipped, and received accurately and on time.

• Create and process purchase orders using the ServiceTitan Purchasing Module.
• Support the company’s transition to virtual inventory later this year.
• Develop and maintain purchasing procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with Operations and Raynor in Dixon, Illinois.
• Submit approved purchase orders and monitor order status through delivery.
• Review and distribute order acknowledgements (OAs), ensuring accuracy.
• Coordinate Raynor container shipments by correctly assigning unit counts, as trained, to ensure each container reaches full capacity.
• Coordinate with Pacific Transport for container delivery to Raynor Manufacturing and shipment to Oahu. Track delivery times and keep the team informed.
• Arrange container hauling to and from docks on Oahu.
• Manage all loose, non-Raynor door and parts shipments, including obtaining freight quotes, scheduling, tracking, and communicating updates.
