Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Own the purchasing process from request to PO to delivery.
  • Source materials, tooling, and services critical to operations.
  • Create and track purchase orders in ERP (Great Plains a plus).
  • Communicate timelines and updates to vendors and internal teams.
  • Keep documentation accurate, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Review requisitions and issue POs quickly and accurately.
  • Track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Keep stakeholders informed every step of the way.
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships.
  • Source specialty items and solve supply challenges.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
  • Maintain backup vendors to keep supply chain strong.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and support payments.
  • Partner with Accounting for smooth procurement flow.
  • Identify cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • Help improve purchasing processes and controls.

What You’ll Do
