Job summary

Victorinox Swiss Army is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for the Corporate Office in Monroe, CT. In this full‑time role you will execute the purchase plan, generate and manage purchase orders in SAP, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, packaging, and finished goods.

You will monitor supplier performance, maintain accurate delivery dates in SAP, and communicate risks to internal stakeholders while supporting production schedules and inventory planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.
• Excellent MRP and SAP skills with strong scheduling and organization.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate and release purchase orders based on approved buy plans.
• Track supplier commitments and monitor inbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate delivery information in SAP and reconcile orders.
• Act as the primary contact for assigned suppliers.
• Monitor shipment status to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify and communicate supply risks to internal stakeholders.
