Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a Purchasing Risk Analyst to lead responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, and risk management initiatives. The role collaborates with buyers, legal, and compliance to map supply chains and strengthen risk controls, while leveraging data analytics and AI tools for insight-driven decisions.

The position emphasizes cross-functional work, process improvement, and working with external initiatives like RMI to minimize risk and maximize value across the Toyota

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or SCM or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Automotive Procurement/Supplier Development.
• Experience with data analysis to evaluate trends, quantify impacts, and present management-ready insights.

Responsibilities

• Responsible Sourcing lead, cross-industry collaboration with Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI).
• Supply chain analysis and due diligence to ensure compliance.
• Lead consolidated risk database development.
• Work with buyers, counsel, customs, and compliance to develop contingency plans and mitigate risks.
• Support growing supply chain due diligence and risk monitoring across multiple TMNA functions.
• Possible tasks: Supply Chain Mapping, Cyber Security, Labor Risks, internal system development.
