Job summary

Android Industries in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an Entry-Level Purchasing Project Manager to serve as the main contact for purchasing activities within Launch Programs and Engineering Changes. You will work closely with Engineering, Launch PMs, and internal teams to align deliverables with program timing and budget.

The ideal candidate communicates well under pressure, balances multiple initiatives, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
0–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or project coordination.
Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

Support purchasing activities for assigned Launch Programs and ECs from start to finish.
Track Purchasing Program milestones and deadlines.
Assist buyers/managers with quotes, pricing, delivery schedules, etc.
Attend Launch Programs, EC’s meetings.
Communicate regularly with Buyers, Launch PMs, Engineering, Operations, Finance and cross functional teams.
Identify risks and help develop solutions.
Keep accurate records for all Launch Programs and ECs.
Support process improvements in Purchasing and Project Tracking.
