Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, economics, supply chain management or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of procurement, purchasing, buyer, supply chain management, finance, or related experience with leadership attributes; 1+ year of management preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of production planners and purchasing staff; oversee purchasing from requisition to receipt.
• Monitor requisitions, quotes, terms, and purchase orders to ensure DFA policies are followed.
• Expedite orders to maintain supply against schedule changes and manage supplier relationships.
• Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and maintain vendor relationships; provide regular reports to senior management.
• Oversee inventory control, budgeting, and procurement records; drive cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop purchasing plans and monitor market trends.
