Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Maintenance Planner to organize, schedule, and oversee maintenance work across the plant. You will generate and track work orders, monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and coordinate with production and outside contractors to keep lines running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in maintenance planning, hands-on mechanical experience in a high-speed facility, and proficiency with CMMS and the Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 2 to 5 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
• Mechanical experience in a high-speed production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily plant maintenance operations and projects to meet production schedules.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Lead on-site maintenance and inventory management for MRO items.
• Coordinate material requests, vendor schedules, and project timelines.
• Review and evaluate parts quality, cost, and availability for planning.
