Category Procurement
The Purchasing/Production Planner selects and negotiates with approved vendors to place purchase orders in response to product requirements. The Purchasing/Production Planner interfaces between the manufacturing/operations, purchasing planning and inventory control functions to determine the most efficient Production Plan to ensure inventory for finished goods is maintained at a level specified by management.

Standard office environment with occasional trips to the manufacturing area
