Job summary

Wilkinson Companies is seeking a Purchaser to keep materials, equipment, and supplies ready for our service, installation, and mobile boiler teams in the region. You’ll obtain quotes, place and track purchase orders, coordinate deliveries with vendors and field crews, monitor inventory, and build strong vendor relationships to improve cost and purchasing processes.

A high school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of purchasing experience are required; proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP

3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in relevant sectors.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Obtain quotes, process material requests, and place and track purchase orders.
Coordinate deliveries with vendors, the warehouse, and field teams to support project schedules.
Follow up on backorders and resolve order, pricing, delivery, warranty, and credit issues.
Monitor inventory and help track job materials and equipment.
Build strong vendor relationships and look for ways to improve cost and purchasing processes.
Based on experience, manage an assigned purchasing program such as fleet, tools, or a product line.
