Job summary

Oratomic invites an experienced Purchasing Lead to own end-to-end procurement for a world-class quantum computing program. You will translate team requests into same-day orders, track lead times, and chase confirmations to prevent delays.

In Pasadena onsite, you will manage vendor relationships, liaise on quotes and expediting, handle international orders and customs, and reconcile invoices to POs through payment, supporting scientists and engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating end-to-end purchases for equipment or materials.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and track quotes, lead times, and expediting.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.

At Oratomic , we are building the world's first fault-tolerant quantum computers.

Our team integrates expertise across quantum error correction, neutral atom systems, artificial intelligence, and optical engineering as we work together to make fault-tolerant quantum computing a reality.

We're looking for someone to own purchasing end to end — turning team requests into same-day orders, tracking lead times, chasing confirmations and late shipments, corresponding with vendors on quotes and expedites, managing international orders and customs, and reconciling invoices against POs through to payment. You'll work closely with a team of scientists and engineers in a fast-paced environment, owning vendor relationships and long-term partnerships while ensuring the seamless acquisition of all equipment needed to build a quantum computer.
