Oratomic, based in Los Angeles, is actively seeking optical engineers to design and implement complex optical systems crucial for developing neutral atom quantum computers. This role involves working closely with a collaborative hardware team to integrate optical solutions into functional quantum systems.

We are actively hiring optical engineers to take part in designing, building, and operating fault-tolerant neutral atom quantum computers. You will work in a tight-knit team, working across hardware (lasers, optics, vacuum, electronics), software, processor design, and whatever else is required to build the working quantum computer. This role will focus on design and implementation of complex optical systems key to building the working quantum computer, integrated within the quantum hardware team. A strong background in optical engineering is desirable for this role. We are hiring at all experience levels, including post-bachelors, masters, PhD, and beyond.
