Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Procurement professional to oversee purchasing, receiving, storage, and distribution of all food and beverage products across our hotel portfolio.

You will maintain strong vendor relationships, supervise a team, and collaborate with Accounting on month-end processes to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency. This role emphasizes inventory control and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of purchasing operations and procurement processes.
• Experience with inventory control and vendor management.
• Ability to supervise, train, and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, receiving, storage, and distribution of all F&B products.
• Maintain compliance with procurement programs and vendor standards.
• Manage receipt, inspection, storage, and inventory tracking of all products.
• Conduct and supervise monthly inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
• Serve as the property expert for purchasing systems and related tools.
• Coordinate with Accounting to support month-end processes.
• Monitor product quality, vendor deliveries, shortages, and discrepancies; communicate issues to leadership.
• Maintain inventory rotation, labeling, and storage procedures to minimize waste.
• Develop purchasing forecasts and assist with budgeting across departments.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement contracts for quality and cost efficiency.
• Lead the safe transport and delivery of products throughout the hotel.
• Monitor slow-moving inventory and propose improvements.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

• Oversee purchasing, receiving, storage, and distribution of all food and beverage products.
• Maintain strong compliance with procurement programs and vendor standards.
• Manage the receipt, inspection, storage, and inventory tracking of all products delivered to the hotel.
• Conduct and supervise monthly inventories and reconcile discrepancies between physical and recorded inventory.
• Serve as the property expert for purchasing systems and platforms, including Clearsky and related tools.
• Coordinate closely with Accounting to support accurate and efficient month-end processes.
• Monitor product quality, vendor deliveries, shortages, and discrepancies, and communicate issues to leadership.
• Maintain accurate inventory rotation, labeling, and storage procedures to minimize waste and shrinkage.
• Develop purchasing forecasts and assist with budgeting and cost allocation across departments.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement contracts to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and service standards.
• Lead the safe transport and delivery of products throughout the hotel.
• Monitor slow-moving inventory and recommend solutions to improve inventory control and reduce costs.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with vendors, leaders, and associates.
• Experience using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of purchasing operations, inventory control, and vendor management.
• Ability to supervise, train, and lead a team effectively.
