Job summary

Responsibilities

• Take daily or cyclical inventories.
• Verify on-hand inventories.
• Verify incoming shipments of materials.
• Post receivers into the computer system.
• Issuing materials from inventory using the computer system.
• Filing paperwork and documents by company name and numerical sequence.
• Read and interpret labels and placards; transcribe twelve-digit sequences.
• Find parts and materials in the computer database for Maintenance and other departments.
• Check on-hand computer balances.
• Find locations and warehouses where parts are stored.
• Research order histories, including on-order quantities, requisitions and details, receiving histories, issue histories, returns and repairs.
