Job summary

Kraft Heinz – Cedar Rapids is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage ingredient orders and maintain inventories to support production needs. This role requires coordination with production, warehouses, and transportation to ensure timely deliveries.

Strong procurement experience and SAP skills are essential. Ideal candidates will have a High school diploma, 2+ years in procurement, and solid Excel/Word abilities to support data-driven decisions and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of procurement experience in materials planning and ordering.
• Must possess good math and computer skills.
• Learn and work in the SAP and other systems.

Plant Overview:

• 3-Shift Operation
• Non- Union Facility with approximately 200 hourly staff members which are a mix of temporary and full-time associates.
• 100% Food Service, 4 bag soup lines, 1 tub line, 18 Kettles, 5 Filling lines, and 4 packaging lines.
• Products include Frozen Soups and Macaroni & Cheese

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids started as Ashby Soups and was originated in the mid 1980’s by Jamie and Shannon Ashby, along with their mother, using family held recipes for many kinds of soups. • Order and maintain inventories on ingredients

Qualifications:
