Job summary

Yanfeng International Automotive Technology Co. Ltd. in the United States is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support supplier onboarding, order processing, and procurement administration.

You will work in a team focused on BOS/SOX/POS compliance, ERP order flow, and local sourcing to align with commodity strategies.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with plants and accounts payable; prior automotive exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Area of study should be commercial and/or technical (high school) or a university degree.
• Experience level: 1-3 entry level coordinator experience or similar role; automotive industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check and if necessary correct purchase order content to ensure it fulfils necessary standards and requirements (BOS, SOX, POS).
• Support Approve Suppliers List adds and changes as necessary.
• Check purchase requisition / create purchase order where requested.
• Ensure requested products / services are in line with commodity strategies and Approved Suppliers list.
• Process and follow up purchase orders and approval process in ERP System.
• Send purchase orders to vendors.
• Support plants in local sourcing process – in line with commodity strategy and targets to limit supplier base.
• Support accounts payable with invoice reconciliation for plant etc.
• For audits, responsible for support of plant team in providingPurchasing information and support.
• Works with material which may be confidential or important innature.
• Organizes and maintains files and records pertinent to departmental procedures.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
