Job summary

Responsibilities

• Place automated and manually created orders daily to predetermined vendors.
• Maintain logs and files for PO data.
• Research product pricing and other information to ensure PO accuracy.
• Communicate with departments, buyers, inventory staff and suppliers regarding delays, price changes and back orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, identify substitutes, and arrange expedited shipping.
• Prepare purchase orders from requests, with special conditions and terms as needed.
