Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort in Marathon, FL is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to support daily operations. You will assist with planning and managing received products, ensuring accurate storage, and helping maintain supply levels for the kitchen and resort teams.

The role includes initiating purchase orders, coordinating with the Purchasing Manager, and arranging service calls for kitchen equipment. A reliable team player who can work weekends and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Literate in English and Math.
• Computer experience; Excel is a plus.
• Morning person.
• Good handwriting.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Job description

As the Purchasing Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with the plans and management of the received products and storage of all goods received daily. You will ensure a safe, sanitary work environment which conforms with EOS Hospitality, Hawks Cay, and the Florida department of health. As well as initiating purchase orders for equipment, storage items and small wares as requested by the Purchasing Manager. Other duties will include arranging service calls for kitchen equipment and coolers as requested by Purchasing Team.

• Computer experience, Excel a Plus
• Morning person
• Good handwriting
• Able to work weekends & holidays

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to lift and carry 60 lbs
• Able to stand on their feet for long durations of the work day.
