Job summary

Magna Electronics is seeking a procurement-focused professional to lead RFQ processes for production equipment and automation systems. You will analyze quotes, assess total cost of ownership, and support sourcing decisions with benchmarking and risk analysis.

You will prepare negotiation summaries, maintain supplier databases, and manage purchase orders while tracking delivery. Strong ERP (SAP) and Excel skills are essential in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain or commercial analysis.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, automation, tooling or CAPEX projects preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and advanced Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate RFQ processes for production equipment, automation systems, tooling and related services.
• Analyze supplier quotations, proposals and total cost of ownership.
• Support sourcing decisions through supplier benchmarking, market analysis and risk assessment.
• Prepare negotiation summaries and commercial recommendations for management approval.
• Create and maintain supplier databases, sourcing records and procurement documentation.
• Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders while tracking delivery commitments.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, delivery and service levels.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and value improvement opportunities.
• Support CAPEX projects from sourcing phase through equipment delivery and project completion.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and project teams to ensure purchasing alignment.
• Support contract review activities and maintain compliance with Magna purchasing procedures.
• Develop KPI reports covering savings, sourcing activities, supplier performance and spend trends.
• Resolve commercial and delivery issues through effective stakeholder and supplier communication.
