Purchases raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies for a group of products/functions. Ensures that the minimum level of inventory for the allocated commodities are maintained without jeopardizing the continuity of scheduled production within the customer release schedules. Participates as a strategic liaison with the relevant suppliers to ensure raw material requirements are satisfied.
