Responsibilities

• Source raw materials, components, and supplies to support ongoing manufacturing operations.
• Negotiate pricing while ensuring adherence to quality standards and technical specifications.
• Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships.
• Negotiate contracts and delivery terms to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.
• Monitor inventory levels to support production needs without overstocking.
• Issue timely purchase orders and coordinate deliveries to maintain optimal inventory flow.
• Stay informed on market trends, pricing shifts, and supplier performance.
• Use data to drive purchasing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with production, engineering, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement with business needs and timelines.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all purchases, vendor agreements, and inventory transactions.

Job description

The Purchasing Specialist sources raw materials, components, and supplies to support ongoing manufacturing operations; negotiates pricing, contracts, and delivery terms; monitors inventory levels and coordinates deliveries; analyzes market trends and supplier performance; collaborates with internal teams; and maintains accurate procurement and inventory records.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Negotiate pricing while ensuring adherence to quality standards and technical specifications.
• Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships.
